Fry-Yay fried chicken given the Rock Out Wok Sauce treatment. Perfect for a bento bowl or bao buns.
1 cup Fry-Yay
2 tbsp Wok Sauce
Oil for frying
1/4 cup Wok Sauce
1 tbsp TikTok Trending
Add oil to a fry pan or pot, and fill to a depth of about 4cm for a shallow fry, bring to temperature over a medium high heat.
To prep the chicken cut into bite size cubes or long strips about 1cm wide.
Add the chicken to a bowl and pour over the Wok Sauce, mix to coat.
Pop the Fry Yay on a plate or shallow bowl and take each piece of chicken and dredge in the Fry Yay to coat.
Add the chicken to the oil in batches, don’t over crowd the pan, frying for 5-6 minutes or until crisp and cooked through.
Drain any excess oil on a paper towel.
To make the glaze, add all the ingredients to a small pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes over a high heat until glossy and well combined.
To serve drizzle the glaze over the fried chicken and sprinkle with TikTok. Serve with Mayo on the side and fresh chopped spring onion.
