All of our pastes, salt blends, Mother Dukkah and the majority of our rubs, have now been tested and confirmed gluten free and suitable for celiacs! A big win for us. These products are also Vegan, Palm oil free and MSG free.
Our Crumb products (the Lemon and Herb crumb, and The Mother Dukkah crumb) are made with standard panko crumbs and are not Gluten free items. Check out our specific Gluten Free Crumbs.
Our Wok sauce (Rock out with your wok out) is a soy sauce base, so not suitable for celiacs. It also contains Oyster sauce, which is made using the by-product of oysters (by soaking the crushed shells). So is classed as vegetarian, but not vegan. Complex, I know.
Most products are nut free except The Mother Dukkah, Moroccan Dukkah Crumb (including Gluten Free variety) and Sweet Dukkah's. Due to the production process, all dry products may contain traces of nuts.
Most of our products DO contain large amounts of the following allergens: onion, garlic, sesame, cinnamon, paprika, tomato, ginger and citrus. If you do have issues with these allergen foods, please contact us to discuss further.
The prices for the products listed on this site are in New Zealand dollars and include GST, but exclude delivery charges. We reserve the right to amend or rectify any errors in pricing or product description within 24 hours of being notified of it.
An order made via our website is an offer to purchase product/s. When we receive a valid order from you, we will acknowledge by email, that we have received and are processing your order. We will take payment from you when we accept your order.
Once your order is confirmed we are unable to change, cancel or add to any aspects of it. Please carefully check your order details before completing payment.
Delivery is made by courier. Please ensure the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed. We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you. Delivery to rural addresses may take longer in some areas. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you.
You must notify us within 7 days of the dispatch date if you have not received an item.
We take every care when packing your order as many of our products are fragile. Your order will be packaged in layers of cardboard bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard to protect it on its journey. We then rely on a third party courier to deliver your order in the same condition it left our warehouse. If your order is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. Please email us with photographic evidence and provide full details of condition/damage. Please do NOT dispose of any items until advised to by us as we are often required to return these to the courier for inspection.
We stand by the quality of our products and we make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase.
Pepper & Me orders are usually dispatched the same business day your order is placed. Please note that during promotional periods, your Pepper & Me order may be dispatched up to three days after your order is placed.
Pepper & Me orders are sent using NZ Post. You will receive an email or text message once your order has been dispatched. If you have not received your dispatch email please check your junk folder.
After your parcel leaves Pepper & Me HQ, it should take one to three business days to get your place. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if your parcel hasn't arrived four business days after dispatch.
