French Toast Breakfast Bake

An easy way to do French toast for a deliciously sweet
family breakfast on Christmas morning.

Ingredients

1 whole loaf of bread like sour dough or Vienna
- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream
- 40 turns Bakers Blend

30g butter, melted
To serve

Fresh berries

Maple syrup
Directions
Preheat oven to 180C fan bake.
In a large bowl whisk together eggs, cream and bakers blend.
Cut bread into cubes. You can used any bread or a mix of stale left over bread. Regular toast will work but not as well. You really need to use a loaf from the bakery department or even French stick. Add the chopped bread to the egg mixture.
Toss bread through eggs and allow to so soak up the liquid.
Pour melted butter into a casserole dish or baking dish. Pour in the soaked bread.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and egg is set.
Garnish with fresh fruit and serve with maple syrup.
