A super simple pasta dish that’s packed with flavour and always a hit with our littlest addicts. It’s the perfect go-to for busy nights when you need something quick, easy, and delicious.
Ingredients
300 g streaky bacon
2 cups frozen corn
300 g pasta curls or macaroni
50 g butter
1 tbsp garlic crushed
3 tbsp Onion Dip Mix
250 ml cream
250 ml chicken stock or water and stock powder
1/2 cup grated cheese we just used Edam
Pinch of Man Grind
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your chosen pasta until al dente.
While the pasta is cooking add the butter to a large fry pan and pop over a medium high heat, melt the butter and add the garlic, cook for 30 seconds.
Cut the bacon into small slices and add to the pan, sauté for 3-4 minutes over a medium heat.
Add the cream and stock and sprinkle over Onion Dip Mix, mix to combine and dissolve the dip mix, add the frozen corn and bring to a simmer, simmer for 5-6 minutes to reduce the sauce.
Add grated cheese and stir to melt.
Drain pasta and add to the sauce, toss to coat. Remove from heat and leave to stand for a couple of minutes.
Taste and season with a pinch of Man Grind if needed.
