Gluten Free Flour (Rice Flour, Thickener (1442), Starches (Tapioca, Maize), Psyllium Husk, Stabilizer (412)), Dates, White Sugar, Baking Powder, Orange Granules, Bakers Salt Blend (Raw Sugar, Table Salt, Mixed Spice, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anise, Vanilla Powder, Nutmeg)
Store these in a cool, dry place. Use within 3 months of opening.

Date and Orange Scones

Love these packet scone mixes, we take them in our caravan, nice and easy to make without having to take a load of ingredients when on the road. Love the other flavours too. Are quite a heavy scone, so a good dollop of butter to serve helps.

There is way too much cinnamon and cardamon in this it way over powered the date and orange to the extent cinnamon was all we could taste. I served to my partner and he said " I thought you said it was date and orange scone, tastes more like a cinnamon hot cross bun, please don't make again". The batter was quite dark and when cooked looked like it was made with wholemeal flour. No date or orange flavor.

Won’t be buying again until recipe is greatly improved

We generally loooove pepper and me products but both GF scone mixes were a huge disappointment. The flavour of this one was great but no matter what we tried they wouldn’t really raise and they were quite wet/stodgy inside, after initially taking them out and trying them we even tried cooking them for longer but no real improvement. Would not recommend until the recipe is seriously improved.
