Hot off the grill and dripping with buttery goodness, this corn is golden, glossy, and packed with sweet, smoky flavour in every bite.
Ingredients
-
6 ears of corn, husks removed
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
Baple Macon, to taste
-
Freshly cracked black pepper
Maple Bacon Butter
-
100g unsalted butter, softened
-
2 tsp Baple Macon
-
1–2 tsp maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
Directions
Steam or boil the corn for 5 to 7 minutes, until just tender. Drain and pat dry.
Preheat your grill or BBQ to high. Brush the corn lightly with olive oil and season with Maple Bacon seasoning.
Grill the corn, turning occasionally, until lightly charred in spots, about 5 to 7 minutes.
While the corn is grilling, make the maple bacon butter. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with Maple Bacon seasoning and maple syrup until well combined.
Remove the corn from the grill and immediately slather it generously with the maple bacon butter so it melts into every nook.
Serve hot. For extra indulgence, add more butter at the table.
