Fry Yay Mac n Cheese

A super simple, stovetop mac 'n' cheese that kids will love—perfectly creamy and the ideal sidekick to your smoky BBQ meats this summer.

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tbsp flour
2 1/2 tbsp Fry Yay
1 1/2 cups milk
6 slices burger cheese (I used Dairy Works cheddar slices)
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp Gateway Salt
500g macaroni elbows

Directions

Prepare the macaroni as per packet instructions.
While the macaroni is cooking place a medium size pot over a low heat and add the butter.
Once the butter is melted add the Fry Yay and the flour and stir to form a thick paste. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.
Stir over a medium heat until the sauce starts to bubble and thickens. Cook for a further couple of minutes, stirring constantly so that the sauce doesn't burn on the bottom of the pot.
Remove from the heat and add the cheese and stir until the cheese is fully melted and combined. Add the Man Grind and stir through.
Serve as an easy dinner or as a side to your BBQ'd meat. Yum!
