Man Rub Ribs

Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs packed with smoky Man Rub flavour, slow-baked to perfection and finished with a sticky, caramelised Sweet Bourbon glaze. These bad boys are guaranteed to steal the show at your next dinner or BBQ!

Man Rub Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 2 heaped tbsp Man Rub
  • ⅓ cup Sweet Bourbon St. BBQ
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Lay two large lengths of tin foil on a tray. Place a piece of baking paper the size of the ribs on top of the tinfoil. Rub the ribs with
  3. Man Rub on both sides.
  4. Wrap the ribs up tightly like a parcel, place on a baking tray and bake for 3 hours at 160°C.
  5. After 3 hours the rib meat should be tender. Remove the ribs from the oven and increase oven to 200°C.
  6. Partially unwrap the ribs and tuck any excess foil in. To glaze the ribs mix the Sweet Bourbon St. BBQ and water with the honey
  7. or brown sugar. Brush on the ribs and place back in the oven for 20 minutes to get some colour and until slightly sticky.
  8. Serve immediately.
