This creamy bacon pasta is comfort in a bowl—crispy bacon, al dente pasta, and a velvety sauce perfectly seasoned with our zesty Sunshine Salt. Quick, easy, and bursting with flavour!
In a large pot, fry off the bacon and onion until golden. Add the sundried tomatoes and Italian Stallion spice blend, giving it a good stir.
Add the pasta, Sunshine Salt, stock, and milk to the pot.
Simmer over medium heat for 12 to 14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the pasta is nearly cooked, stir in the parmesan and cream.
Let the dish sit for another 5 minutes to thicken. Check the pasta is cooked to your liking, give it a final stir, and serve!
Vegetarian option:
In a large pot, sauté the onion in a little olive oil until softened and golden. For added flavour, you can also include sliced mushrooms or courgette at this stage.
Add the sun-dried tomatoes and Italian Stallion spice blend, giving it a good stir to coat the onion and any extra veggies.
Stir in the pasta, Sunshine Salt, vegetable stock, and milk.
Simmer over medium heat for 12 to 14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the pasta is nearly cooked, mix in the parmesan and cream.
Let the dish sit for another 5 minutes to thicken. Check the pasta is cooked to your liking, give it a final stir, and serve!
