A comforting classic featuring tender chicken and broccoli baked in a rich, creamy sauce, topped with golden, bubbly cheese. Perfect for an easy, satisfying family meal!
Preheat oven to 180°C. Toss diced chicken in Man Rub and brown in a dash of olive oil for about 5 minutes.
Blanch broccoli in a pot of boiling water for 1 minute. Do not cook fully as it will cook more in the oven. Drain and run under the cold tap to stop cooking.
Arrange the broccoli in a baking or casserole dish, then add the chicken in an even layer.
For the sauce, make a roux by melting butter in a saucepan, whisking in flour, and gradually adding milk and stock until a smooth sauce forms. Season with Man Grind Salt Flakes and add mustard. Cook out the flour for about 2 minutes.
Whisk in sour cream, remove from heat, and stir through cheese until melted.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
Sprinkle with a little Lemon & Herb Crumb (or any crumb of your choice) and bake for 15 minutes, until golden and bubbling. Serve with mashed potato or cauliflower mash.
