Directions

1. Peel a few strips of lime peel to twist and use as a garnish. Use orange if limes aren’t available.

2. Cut a lime in half and run the cut lime around the rim of your cocktail glass.

3. Add a couple of spoonfuls of the cocktail mixture to a small saucer, invert the cocktail glass into the sugar, and wiggle the
   glass to coat the rim.

4. For the cocktail, add the fresh lime juice, vodka, and cranberry juice to a blender. Pour in the cocktail mixture that’s left on the
   plate; it should be about 1 tbsp. Add the ice to a blender and blend to form a slushy.

5. Pour into cocktail glasses and garnish with a twist of lime zest.

Mocktail version

1. For a mocktail version, replace the vodka with orange juice or even watermelon juice and blend.
