Baked Peaches Stuffed with Goat’s Cheese & Honey

A simple recipe that will blow everyone’s mind — a real Christmas summery treat that anyone can throw together. Serve these incredible little morsels as a perfect warm canapé, either at your bring-a-plate pre-Christmas drinks, or on Christmas day afternoon with a glass of bubbles.

Baked Peaches Stuffed with Goat’s Cheese & Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh peaches
  • 250g goat’s cheese or a soft chevre
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 8 fat slices of prosciutto, halved

  • Liquid honey 
  • ¼ cup Turkish Tea Shop pistachio and rose dukkah

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC fan bake.
  2. Quarter your fresh peaches, remove the stone.

  3. In a food processor, blend the goat’s cheese and cream cheese until smooth.

  4. Place the mixture in a piping bag and pipe into the quartered peaches.

  5. Wrap the peach quarters in a slice of prosciutto.

  6. Pop the peaches onto a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, the cheese will be gooey and the prosciutto a little crisp.

  7. Drizzle the baked peaches with honey and sprinkle with Turkish Tea Shop.
